Receive a Steam Key for a new indie game each month via the email address you registered with. Subscribers will receive their keys on 1st of each month. If you are a late comer to the annual subscription you’ll also get previous month’s games too. Monthly subscribers will receive their next game based on the date they begun their subscribers - for example if you subscribe on the 1st of the month, you’ll get the game for that month, if you subscribe after the 1st of the month, your first game will be for that month, but you will be joining partway through that given month and may have missed some community content.

All subscribers are also invited to join the Slow Game Club Discord community and can contribute questions to our monthly Developer Q&A, content that is exclusive to members of the club.

Annual subscribers will receive their first game - Thank Goodness You're Here! - on 1st January 2026. You will receive access to the Slow Game Club Discord community on 1st December 2025.

Subscribers will receive each following game on 1st of every month up until 1st December 2026.

Monthly subscribers will receive their first game for that given month on the day they subscribe, and then 1st of every following month thereafter.

All our included games will be Steam games and for 2026 the theme is "Indie Hits and Hidden Gems". Expect a variety of styles from established studios and publishers including Panic, Akapura Games, and more. All games will be narrative-driven.

There are no hyper-violent or hyper-sexual games included but you may find a couple with PEGI 16+ ratings. 2026’s line-up includes hidden gems and award-winners from 2024 and 2025 as well as some brand new games launching in 2026.

At least 75% of all games will be from 2025 and none of the games will be older than 2024.

The first game you will receive is Thank Goodness You're Here by Coal Supper. DESPELOTE and Sorry We're Closed have also been announced, for undisclosed months.

Slow Game Club is only available for PC gamers and is delivered via Steam keys. Whilst most games are playable on Steam compatible handheld devices such as Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion and similar you may need to adjust settings to get the best from the game. For the best experience, play Slow Game Club games on a PC. The club is not currently available for consoles.

In addition to the monthly game, you’ll be invited to join the Slow Game Club Discord and participate in live monthly Q&As with the developers. As part of the club you are invited to contribute questions and can connect with other members via the exclusive Slow Game Club Discord. 

If you are a Physical Edition subscriber, you will also receive a number of physical goods alongside your Digital Edition subscription.

Yes, anyone can subscribe and the game keys will work internationally. However, our team is based in the UK so any events or communications will happen in UK time zones. Recordings of live events will be shared within Discord and via emails for anyone unable to attend. 

You can pay via PayPal in any currency.

We have a limited number of membership spaces per year but you can join at any time. For the best deal, sign up before the end of December 2025. Once the £39.99 annual subscriptions have sold out, you can sign up for £8.99 per month. 

We cannot accept any refunds or exchanges for any games that you already own. However, since the games are delivered as Steam Keys you are welcome to gift them to a friend or share within our Discord channel the-drop-off to re-gift to a friend of the community. 

We have worked hard to ensure that all games are of a high quality and that the total value is significantly higher than the subscription cost. We have also tried to ensure there are a wide variety of games that subscribers will not have played before.
