Each game will be revealed in its launch month. However, you can be sure that every single title has been hand-picked to represent some of the best ideas of the genre and theme.

The titles have an average price of £19.99 and all games have a 70% or more review rating on Steam. All the titles come from established, well-known and reputable game development studios like Raw Fury, Playstack, Fireshine Games and Fellow Traveller. There are no hyper-violent or hyper-sexual games, though there are titles with PEGI ratings of 16+. 

Slow Game Club has been designed, developed and is being delivered by Into Games, a long-standing and reputable non-profit in the UK games industry. Into Games has delivered successful projects for the British Government, supported tens of thousands of young people across the UK, and works closely with almost every major UK game studio. Every month, you'll receive a Steam Key via email for a new game that fits with the Slow Game Club theme you have purchased. Alongside this, you'll join a Discord community of fellow subscribers and get access to monthly "reading groups" to discuss the game with subscribers, and a live developer podcast hosted on Discord. At the end of each month, you'll get guidance on how to submit a review for the game on steam from a games journalist. At the start of each month, the process will begin again!

Every month's game will sent to you as a Steam Key, which means if you already own a given month's game, you can give it to a friend for free and invite them to join Slow Game Club that month so you can play together. There are no refunds available if you already own the game.

Our first Slow Game Club is focused exclusively on games that fit the "Noir & Mystery" theme.

This means all twelve games you receive will have elements of noir, mystery, puzzle, adventure, and other similar things you may associate with "Noir & Mystery". 

All games you receive are well-reviewed and developed by reputable game studios.

Every month on the first weekday of the month you will receive a Steam key for that given month's title via your subscribed email address. This is also when the game will be revealed to Subscribers. Check out the full release schedule here

As well as the monthly game you'll also receive access to an exclusive Members Club community on Discord, monthly reading groups, a live developer podcast with the makers of the game, and support on how to write a game review like a games journalist. If you have purchased a "physical" version you will also receive additional real-world Slow Game Club merch alongside this.

Yes, it's worldwide! Every single Steam Key you receive will have no region lock which means it can be used from anywhere in the world. Though  our community is global, due to time zone restrictions there may be some live podcasts which are at unusual hours, depending on your region. Every live podcast will however be recorded and available to all members soon after recording.

Slow Game Club operates through Steam, which means you will receive a redeemable "key" for each game which can be played via Steam. You must own a PC to play all games as not all titles are optimised for Mac. If you are using Mac, you may be able to use third-party software to emulate the games. Slow Game Club is not available for consoles.
